Buen FIn
Buen Fin (The Good Weekend) is a yearly holiday in Mexico where citizens have a three day weekend and retailers slash prices to encourage shopping. The weekend is comparable to Black Friday and Cybermonday.
My task was to develop and propose a style guide for the holiday that was visually aligned with Amazon's treatment of US end of the year holidays but distinct enough to avoid similarities with Cyber Monday and Black Friday styleguides.
Whereas the US (and the Pacific Northwest) celebrate the end of the year with imagery wreaths, snowflakes and mistletoe, Mexico doesn't. I chose a fresh gradient with the box element because the holiday celebrates a three day weekend in Mexico.
